So, As many of you all must be panicking at this hour if you are reading this in time and you have your exam tomorrow. First of all, I wish you all the luck in this world and I hope and pray that you don’t get drug structures in your exam. haha jokes! I hope and pray that you pass.
Here are the 5 MOST IMPORTANT thing you should know before you walk down that exam hall:
- You are not allowed any calculator paper or pen: Do not waste time trying to get your lucky pen or that scientific calculator to your exam hall. They don’t let you in with anything foreign other than your clothes. You will be provided with a water marker or a sharpie and removable sheet to do your rough work and a calculator(not scientific).
- They check every inch of ur skin including ur glasses :
Although this is something that is understood well but just to remind you that this is US, they check every inch of your skin, they will check your pockets, your belongings will be kept in a locker outside the exam room. Your phone will be asked to switched off as soon as you get yourself registered. They even check your glasses (if you wear one) every time you go on a break and then every time you come back to the exam room. - Think of spending like a min or so on each question but dont get ur eyes glued to the timer its only going to freak u out:
This is something I did not do in FPGEE but NAPLEX, I literally became a robot to the clock. I was trying to count every second because I was too scared of running out of time. As a result of it, I was panicking because I thought I was running out of time(the clock goes backward) but instead I finished early which obviously is not going to earn u extra points so take your time. Think about spending a minute or so but there will be questions that might take you 2-3 mins and then there will be ones which you will be answer in seconds. So its completely okay! - Take the breaks to relax ur mind and drink coffee/tea or water whatever makes you feel charged:
They let you take one or so break which are like 15 minutes long. Take this time to sit down and relax. Take deep breaths in, deeper breaths out. Do not think about that one question you think you got wrong. Worrying about what is out of your control is only going to mess up what still is in your control. Drink some water or coffee/tea and walk back into the room with confidence. - Let it be:
Know that you have done everything in your power to study and pass. Whatever happens now is going to be for good. If u pass, Hooray! But if you don’t, its not the end of the world. Failing an exam doesn’t define your expertise, your future or knowledge. Brace up! Theres light at the end of the tunnel and try again! Trust me, You are not the only one who is going through this.
Thanks for sharing, I found it very useful.

Thankyou so much for the appreciation. I hope u pass with flying colors!:)
Is there a difference between lippincott eighth or the seventh edition cause I can’t find the 8th here where i live as a text book but i can manage to get the seventh ?
hey its always a good idea to learn from the latest editions but usually there are very tiny changes that they make. so if u. can easily get the 7th ed go for it. that shouldn’t be a problem
